Terry Ann Blackwell McCall, 69, of Midland, Texas, passed away on March 1, 2026. Terry was born on April 16, 1956, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Orvin "Blackie" Blackwell and Dorothy Mae Gubert. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Troy McCall. She is survived by her sons, Larry D. Burton and Christopher W. McCall, and her grandchildren, Morgan McCall, Christopher McCall, and William McCall. Terry was a bookkeeper by trade and the proud owner of American Bookkeeping Service, Inc. She built her business the same way she lived her life - with determination, stubborn resolve, and a commitment to helping others. You could not convince her to take a day off from work, and that same work ethic applied to being a mother. She simply did not stop showing up. She was always the loudest in the stands at her boys' games, cheering through every win and every loss. She believed in them long before they believed in themselves. Her home was open not only to stray animals - of which there were many over the years - but to stray people, too. If someone needed help, her first words were always, "What do you need? What can I do?" Terry loved baking at Christmas and never missed her daily Coca-Cola from Sonic - because it had the "good" ice. It was a small ritual in a life otherwise spent serving others. She was stubborn. She was faithful. She was helpful. Most of all, she was steady. Her love did not waver, and her presence brought comfort to those who knew her. A service honoring Terry's life will be held on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., in Midland. In lieu of other gifts, flowers may be sent to the Funeral Home, or donations may be made to Fix West Texas, reflecting her lifelong love of animals.
