Tommy, rest in peace. I just saw that you had entered into your heavenly home. Enjoyed going to Austin Junior High and MHS with you. Loved our band family and your craziness. Sooo much fun. Such a great musician! Loved hearing you play in your band in later years. My condolences and comfort and peace go out to your family. See you on the other side!

I was in a "Rival" Band in the late 90's/ early 2000"s. Tom sat in with us when our Bass player had carpal tunnel surgery. I also had the pleasure of joining him onstage a few times with Checkpoint. What an enormous talent and a wonderful man. Any song, Any Time, must have been his battle cry.
I hope the volume knob on his Bass Rig in heaven goes to 12. Godspeed Tom! Will Jam with you later.

Tom and I did land work together in 2007. He was a straight shooter. I will miss him and pray for his family.

Tommy, the Sixties were when the greatest music was born and I was very lucky to have played many of the hits of that era with you when we were making our way through high school (1966 - 1969). Actually, you were so good you carried the other three of us with that immense talent you were born with. You had it, we recognized it, and we were smart enough to grab ahold and go along for the ride. Lots and lots of great times...and some that were very unusual. Remember The Dragon Room in Abilene?
Many other good memories, too. You taught me to slalom and drive a stick shift and you (and sometimes your wonderful Margie) went along for some good flying experiences with me. Mainly, you were a shining example of how people should treat each other. That is the main thing you will be remembered for.
The day you passed (I didn´t learn of it until the next day) I thought of you and how interesting it was that you and my wife Janet were born on exactly the same day. Were you giving me a nudge to say goodbye? Maybe.
At any rate, enjoy the part of your journey that is just now beginning and know that you were and are loved by many. I look forward to seeing you again one of these days!
