It saddened me to hear of Bill McGrew's passing. He was a fixture at our house when I was growing up, and he never missed bringing us a box of Whitman Samplers every Christmas. In their later years, my parents depended on him as an unfailing source of help -- surely the most loyal person my father ever had in his office.

What a joy to have Mr. McGrew stop in for a brief chat at the Basin PBS office as he made his weekly visit to the CAF, where we are housed.
Good men like Mr. McGrew make our country great...and make our days a bit brighter. His visits will be missed and his good nature will carry on in our hearts.
