Mr. Clinton Dennis Worrell, Sr., age 68, of Jonesville, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Mr. Worrell was born in Surry County on March 24, 1949, to Woodrow and Phoebe Goings Worrell. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Polly Ashburn Worrell; sons, Clinton Worrell, Jr. and wife Karen, and Sean Worrell and wife Tonya; grandchildren, Faith Worrell and Makayla Worrell; a sister, Brenda King; a brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Clara Worrell; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Worrell was preceded in death by a sister, Shelby Jean Hiner; and a brother, Cecil Worrell. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Aubrey Casstevens and Rev. Ted Crotts. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
