GLENN A. WHEAT

WHEAT, GLENN A. - age 70, of Philadelphia, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014. He served 28 years in the U.S. Air Force as chief master sergeant where he worked in munitions maintenance. Preceded in death by the mother of his children, Marlene Counts Wheat; mother, Ruby Tuck Wheat; father, James D. Wheat; brother, James Ray Wheat; sisters, Dortha Sue Sheffield and husband, Lester R. Sheffield, and Jo Ann Stamey and husband, Terry Stamey; sister-in-law, Christina Wheat; nephew, Dale R. Sheffield; grandparents, Charles Ray Tuck and Verla May Crisp Tuck. Survived by his wife, Mary Lee Wheat; son, Glenn (Danny) Wheat and wife, Kathleen; daughter, Colleen Zanti and husband, Sam; grandchildren, Brittany Palmer and husband, Austin, Cody Wheat and Alexander Droz; great granddaughter, Audrey Palmer; brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry Wheat, Billy and Fran Wheat; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
