Jodie Mathis Obituary
Mrs. Jodie Rebecca Holder Mathis, age 32, of Dobson, NC, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Monday morning June 15, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Surry Co. on August 10, 1982 to Freeman Douglas Holder and Sandra Goad Holder. Jodie loved the Lord and had such strong faith in Him. Jodie was a caring, loving, and faith driven homemaker. She is survived by her loving husband of over thirteen years Bobby Lee Mathis of the home; her parents of Dobson; two sisters Myra Holder Tucker of Rural Hall, and Melissa Renea Holder of Mount Airy; niece Brenda Mathis, and nephew Jason Allen Ball, Jr.; Special friends Angela Harold of Mount Airy, Erica Hill of Rural Hall, Josh Whitt of Winston-Salem, Tiffany Carter of Mount Airy. A funeral service will be held on Thursday 11:00 AM in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy McCraw will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. & Mrs. Holder,
I am so sorry for your loss. Joffee and I are still in shock over Jodie's passing. We loved her very much, and will miss her greatly. She has been such a joy in our lives over the past several years. May you find comfort in God at the difficult time for I know that Jodie is at peace now.

God bless my Aunt Sandy and her family. So sorry for your lose please know that our thought and prayers are with you,love you all very much. God has gotten us all through rough times and he will heal your hearts. Just always remember the good times and all the wonderful memories of Jodie.
