Joshua Bowman Obituary
Joshua Evan Bowman, 36, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at his home. He was born in Surry County on March 19, 1986, to Gilmer Benny Bowman Sr., and Melissa Slate Martin. Mr. Bowman was a loving father, son and brother who will be dearly missed. He is survived by a son, Levi Corne; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Wayne Marshall, Shannon and Chris Miller, and Mary Beth Williams; a brother, Benny Gilmer Bowman Jr.; many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shirley Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowman Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
