Ola Teague Obituary

Ola Virginia Mosley Teague, 97, of Winston-Salem, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, at PEAK Resources. She was born Sept. 6, 1925, in Surry County to the late John and Maude Mosley. Mrs. Teague was a member of Vernon Forest Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher, and former church secretary. She graduated from Draughn Business School in High Point and was employed by Wachovia Bank in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Teague then became secretary of Urban Street Baptist Church and later Vernon Forest Baptist Church until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, V. M. Teague Jr.; brothers, Alf Mosley, Ardene Mosley, Donald Mosley; and sisters, Marcelene Ramsey and Barbara Nixon. Surviving are one brother, Jack Mosley (Stacey); son, Stephen Michael Teague (Jane); two grandsons, Michael Teague (Ruth), Brian Teague (Misty); one great-grandson, Brice (Bailey); and two great-granddaughters, Andrea and Mackenzie. Mrs. Teague was deeply devoted to her faith and family. Throughout her life, she demonstrated grace and dignity with a sense of calmness. A graveside service will be held at Crestview Memorial Park on Dec. 3, at 2 p.m.. Memorials may be directed to Vernon Forest Baptist Church, 274 Mt. Vernon Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107, or to The Hospice Home in Burlington, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
