Patricia Sue Hice Lowe, age 74, of Lowgap, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at her residence. She was born Aug. 1, 1948, in Surry County, to the late Robert Woodrow Hice and the late Ruth Odell Vernon Hice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Bert Blevins; her brother, Johnny Hice; her nephew Jim Blevins, her niece Keisha Hice and very special person, Justin Marshall. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth Lowe; daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon Powers Soare and Marian Soare, Rhonda and JW Boles, Sheila and Jerry White and Janie Lowe; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jennifer Lowe; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her sister, Becky Bandy; her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Kelly Hice; and her sister-in-law, Lucy Hice; and several nieces and nephews that called her Nanny Pat. Mrs. Lowe was a loving and devoted wife, mother and nanny. Visitation will be Sunday, April 30, from 2-3 p.m. at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m., in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Chris Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowe Family Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Suite 101, Mount Airy NC 27030.
