Barbara Regina Strong, 65

October 14, 1955-August 16, 2021

Barbara Regina Strong passed from this world early on Monday August 16th, 2021; she passed peacefully at Stillwater Hospice in Billings, MT. Barb was born on October 14th, 1955 in Deer Lodge, MT to Edward and Inge Wysocki . She is survived by her son Daniel Wirth and wife Cheryl, son Aaron Wirth and fiancé Sarah, son Joel Wirth and wife Morgan, and daughter Gabrielle Strong and partner Emmanuel Lozano, granddaughters Katrina, Naudia and Nina, and one great-grandson. She also leaves behind her three siblings, brother Henry Wysocki, sister Inger Tognetti and sister Eva Curry (Dave). Barb had a passion for life, she enjoyed gardening, hiking, cross country skiing, reading books of all kinds, and the company of family and good friends. The annual "Sisters" weekend she spent with Inger and Eva was one of the things she looked forward to most. Barb survived two bouts with cancer and throughout her battles her motto was "Keep on Truckin!" and she lived by that for long after her treatments were done, even when the road was a rough one. She is loved and missed by many and will be carried in our hearts for eternity. Please join us in celebrating her life at Immaculate Conception Church in Deer Lodge, Friday September 10th, 2021 at 11am followed by the interment of the cremains at Hillcrest Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at St. Mary's Center after.

So sorry for your loss. I was friends with the family way back in the 50´s when we all lived on Texas Avenue. Barbara was the baby then. I hung out with Henry and Inger. My prayers are with all of you.

I have just heard of Barb's passing and so sad for all of her loved ones. I have so many fond memories of hanging out with her and a few others in high school. One of those friendships that you never forget, you just smile fondly. Peace be with you Barb.
