Dolly Sweet Giulio

March 17, 1931 - October 15, 2022

BUTTE - Dolly Sweet Giulio passed away Saturday evening, October 15, 2022 at the Copper Ridge in Butte. She was born in Boulder, Montana on St. Patrick's Day, Tuesday, March 17, 1931 the third of five children to Gerald and Lillian (Glass) Barry. She attended schools in Boulder and graduated from Jefferson County High School. Dolly married William "Bill" Sweet on December 10, 1950 and together they had one daughter, Lillian, but later divorced. She married Harold Giulio in November of 1983 and he preceded her in death on New Years Eve, 2013.

Dolly loved all of her family especially being Gramie, baking for all occasions and spoiling her dachshunds. Dolly worked as secretary at Sayatovic-White's Funeral Home for many years and following the fire that destroyed the funeral home in 1983, went to work for Montana Power Company, retiring in 1998.

Dolly was a member of Ruth Chapter # 2, Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lillian and Tim Kohn of Butte; grandchildren: Chris and Christina Zahn; with four children and three grandchildren and Ted and Andrea Zahn and their daughter, Eloise of Boise, Idaho; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Lorna Barry of Montana City, and Harold Giulio's family. Besides Harold she is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Lillian and Jim Shute, Nellie and Bill Shouquist, Lois and Art Braach, her step-son, Russell Sweet and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will take place Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home. Entombment of ashes will take place in Mountain View Cemetery.
