Guy “Pene”, I was always great full to the Ossello’s. Guy hired me when I was 17, to help deliver Furniture and appliances. It was my first real job. He has always been very friendly any time I would see him. This past Summer it was at St. Ann’s Church. He did so many things for the City of Butte, it is an endless, to many to mention.

A light went out on Earth for us
The day we said goodbye
And on that day a star was born,
The brightest in the sky
Reaching through the darkness
With its rays of purest white
Lighting up the Heavens
As it once lit up our life
With beams of love to heal
The broken hearts you left behind
Where always in our memory
Your lovely star will shine.

Guy was a really good guy and faithful citizen of Butte from North Meaderville, Holy Savior,Central and Gonzaga. Our family knew him well. His dad operated a gas station down the street from my dad´s gas station in Meaderville which they converted to Ossello´s Appliance store. His friendly effervescent smile was the same as when he was a just a kid growing up in Butte.
My very best to his family.

Guy was one of my childhood heroes. He taught me to work hard, have fun and treat people with respect. His smile and sparkle were infectious. He encouraged me to go to Gonzaga. He was my champion. He will always have a special place in my heart.

Dear Madeline and family, we were so sorry to hear of Guy's passing. He was a great man and great friend. I posted some pictures earlier (copy did not go through) of Dad and Guy, fellow Gonzaga University Butte Rats! They had so much fun together and we will always be grateful for Guy and Madeline naming a room after Dad at Gonzaga. As a child, I remember coming to Anaconda and then travelling to White Hall to spend time with the Ossello's and having fun on the trampoline. They say the best people come from Montana, Guy proved that right. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. Love the Sladich Family

Guy was such a generous man, and loyal friend to our family. Guy and my father were members of the Butte Rats (although Dad was from Anaconda) at Gonzaga University. They graduated in 1959 and were life long friends. As kids, I remember going back to Anaconda and visiting the Ossello's at Whitehall. We had so much fun and remember the trampoline! Guy was so great to us kids and was loyal to Dad and mom long after their deaths by naming a room after Dad at Gonzaga. Something our family will never forget. Sending love and hugs to Madeline and family. He was one of the good ones and I know dad welcomed him to heaven with a cigar and scotch. We are so sorry for this huge loss to your family.

I remember Guy well! I lived on the Parrott flat with a number of other guys who went to Boy's Central. Guy would be driving along Mercury to go to school and almost without exception, when he happened to see us, he would stop and offer a ride the rest of the way to high school! Great Guy! (Literally!)

I met Guy in about 1987 at the furniture store. He had never met me before but greeted me with kindness and gave me his time even though I was just a young "insurance guy". I then met many of his children and became friends with them and watched several of the grandkids (Delaney's) grow up. What a wonderful man and a wonderful family. You will be missed!

We got to know Guy and Madeline at Mick and Laura's wedding this summer. He was such a friendly, energetic, sweet and kind person. Laura will forever remember the special song he sang to her at the rehearsal dinner. I think he talked to everyone at the wedding and danced until the DJ quit playing. He was a special person and will be truly missed. Heaven just gained a special angel.

Guy was a good man and produced a great family. I remember one of his promotions back in the 70’s with a man living on a tower built above Ossello’s. They called him a flagpole sitter. It was a fun event for Butte. May God welcome his new arrival.
