BUTTE- On Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, Richard "Rick" Kenneth Kenison of Butte, MT hung up his boots and cowboy hat to join Our Father in Heaven.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents Ron "Swede" and Barb Kenison, and his brother, William John Kenison.
He is survived by his three children, Cooper Walker, Nicholia (Brad) Seaholm, and Garrett Walker; his sisters, Terri (Phil) Jones and Kathy Kenison; his brothers, Marty (Holly) Kenison, Eric (Jeanni) Kenison, Ron (Susie) Kenison, Mike (Polly) Kenison; his aunt, Judy Lero; his uncle, Joe Erickson; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

My buddy Swede is at rest now. While I'm sad about his passing I know he is finally at peace. My condolences to all who loved Rick.
As to memories there are many - all good - spanning from high school to just last November 2024 when I visited him at his home in Butte for the last time. I was always Pudge to Swede. It was a nickname I really never appreciated, but coming from Swede it was both expected and welcome. I will forever remember and miss our breakfasts at the MT Club each time I was back in town each year.
I'll save the rest for later
