Amanda Dacy Obituary

Amanda Dacy, 60, of Grandview, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Muscatine. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Amanda. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello is caring for Amanda's family and arrangements.

Amanda Dianne Chatfield was born on November 7, 1965, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Rolland and Elaine (Troxel) Chatfield. On July 6, 1989 she was united in marriage to Paul Dacy in Las Vegas. She worked at Muscatine Hospital as a phlebotomist for 20 years and at Grimm Brothers in Wapello for 10. She enjoyed fishing. Most of all, Amanda loved her family, spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews was the most important thing in the world to her.

Amanda will be missed deeply missed by her husband, Paul of Grandview; children, Kim (Josh) Lefeber of Maryville, Mo., Michele Dacy of Mobile, Ala. and Amie Dacy of Grandview; two precious grandchildren, Emery Lefeber and Ariel Wigans; sisters, Ellyn (Marvin) Kerschenske of Letts and Rebecca (Jim) Phillips of Muscatine; stepbrother, JR Ferrell of Boone; stepsisters, Debra Simpson of Mason City and Brenda Ferrell of Stanhope; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Elaine Ferrell; father, Rolland Chatfield; brother, Kirk Chatfield; sister-in-infancy, Kim Chatfield; and stepbrother, Victor Ferrell.
