Bobby Joe Crabtree

Bob (Bobby Joe) Crabtree closed his life chapter on earth and now has a clean slate that Jesus can write on. Born in Calico Rock, Arkansas to Roy/ Irene Crabtree on June 20, 1945 and transcended on February 24, 2025 after eight years of Alzheimers. His family moved to Everson when Bob was 5 and he graduated from Nooksack Valley High School in 1963. He joined the Air Force and served from 1964-67. Based out of Okinawa and flew to SE Asia to repair damaged airplanes. Once home he worked short times at Intalco, Uniflight and then became a sheet metal apprentice at Haskell Corp. He spent 2 years on the island of Shemya in the Aleutian Islands. He began looking for a career that would allow him to raise his daughters and be at home. He purchased Lynden Sheet Metal on April 1, 1977, with partner Dennis Clark and continued to 2010 when he retired. Bob restored a 1957 Mack semi-truck which he hooked to a fifth wheel trailer and had many fun trips with good friends. Life took on significance when he accepted Jesus in 2000. Bob at age 15 met his wife Rose Smith and married October 1965. They have 2 daughters Bobbi Kreider/Cory; Angie Whitaker/JR Grandchildren: Bailey/Tom Klein; Jordan Kreider/Emily; Adam Whitaker and Avrie Whitaker. Great Grands Madi and Owen Klein and Delilah Kreider. Surviving Sisters-Margueritte Wright and Louise Olsen. In-laws - Anna Marie Wichers; Frank Smith, Marilyn Koetje, Dorothy Smith, Sandi Clark, Helen Korthuis There to welcome him in heaven are Roy/Irene Crabtree; Ted/Grace Smith; Tom Crabtree; Gena Tolle, Correan/Gene Nims; Randy Wright; Elmer Smith.
