Kamol Nuntalogawithoon Obituary

Kamol Nuntalogawithoon was born on January 17 th, 1952, 1980 in Bangkok, Thailand, has passed away on September 9th, 2025 Kamol will be remembered as a wonderful dad and a good husband. He loved his simple way of life and held his Christian values at heart and lived by them. He helped his children establish a moral standard that aligned with his and his wife, Niyada's, beliefs. He instilled in them that the value of life isn't based on how much money you have in your bank account, or the nice house or fancy car, but rather on how you can give to others through service to your fellow human beings. He didn't grow up in a wealthy family and never let financial status dictate how much he could give to the needy. Despite his Christian faith, people often recognized his volunteer work and assistance at the Thai Temple, because he understood that all religions share the same core principle: "To love and help one another." Kamol grew up alongside his siblings and loved them all equally. He was the type of brother they could always rely on whenever they needed help. He never turned down an opportunity to be involved with his siblings and their families. Kamol worked as a sales representative for a British pharmaceutical company for over 20 years before relocating to the United States. After arriving in the U.S., he became a chef at a Thai restaurant, where he worked for an additional 20 years. Outside of work, Kamol enjoyed running, hiking, and biking. He loved vacations, road trips, and especially spending time with his family. Some of his happiest moments were with his grandson, Mason, and he loved the time they shared together. Kamol cared deeply about helping others. He supported a charity in Thailand that built a meditation retreat, and he was also a steady donor to a hospital in Thailand, where his contributions helped improve facilities and medical needs. He will be remembered for his hard work, generosity, and devotion to his family. His smile, love of animals, and simple, caring nature will be missed by all who knew him. He was a kind soul and loved giving to others. Kamol is survived by his wife, Niyada Nuntalogawithoon; his daughters, Cuitmanat Nuntalogawithoon (son-in-law Jeramie Mason and grandson Mason) and Tanya Nuntalogawithoon; his sisters, Suepapow Nuntalogawithoon, Sinpou Nuntalogawithoon, and Glory Thomas; niece, Cassie Lowe-Yee, and nephew, Ron Varun Lowe.

One of my vivid childhood memory was riding with Soi Jek Kamol taking me to school on his motorbike in Bangkok. I was likely around 7 or 8 years old and it was the first time that I was allowed to ride in the front. To feel the rush of the wind as we traversed the busy streets was so fun. He was my closest uncle because my father left for the US when I was only a year old. I was glad to have Soi Jek nearby. I am grateful his kindness and support. Rest in peace krub.
