Lee Brooks

Marion "Lee" Brooks, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025. Born on the brisk fall morning of October 9, 1950, to Marion and Voleene Brooks, Lee was known for his loving and truthful personality. Family was always a top priority for him. As one of four children it was common for him and his siblings to go on several adventures that allowed for his humor to shine. One of the more memorable experiences happened when they went clam digging. They were getting their clams and then all of the sudden a Game Warden comes up, sees their overflowing pails, and said, "Someone's getting a ticket!" His siblings all turned to him, and Lee replied with, "Gee thanks, I guess it's me!" He soon married the love of his life, Arlene, and as the years passed, they loved, learned with, and supported each other unconditionally. When it came to hobbies, Lee's passions lay in fishing and woodworking. It was common to find him with a fishing pole at his favorite lake or building for hours in his shop. Lee will be dearly missed by his wife Arlene Brooks; children Heather Thomas, Daniel Thomas, and Douglas Thomas; grandchildren Clara Thomas, Brayden Thomas, Marcus Thomas, Cameron Thomas, Wyatt Thomas, Hailey Mylott, and Kayla Mylott; siblings Nancy Brooks, Larry (Jennie) Brooks, and Judy (Tony) Bakke; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lee is preceded in death by his two children, Tommy and Tammy Bollinger, as well as his parents Marion and Voleene Brooks. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22 at 1pm at Lakeside Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
