Alfred Borowski Obituary
AGE: 78 • Piscataway Twp.
Alfred P. Borowski, 78, of Piscataway Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Alfred was born in Bayonne, NJ. Alfred worked for AT&T, as the supervisor and night foreman, in New York City for 45 years. He proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps, as a Sergeant from 1955 to 1963 and received the Good Conduct Medal.
Alfred was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Helen Borowski. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Ronald Lacy of Jackson Twp., NJ; his son, Michael Borowski of Piscataway Twp., NJ; his grandchildren, Rachel George, Taylor George, Nicholas George and Alexis Lacy all of Jackson Twp., NJ; and by his brothers, Peter Borowski of East Stroudsburg, PA and Anthony Borowski of Toms River, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 4-8 PM at The George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 8:30 AM at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment with military honors will follow in The Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Mr. Borowski to St. Aloysius School, P.O. Lisa and family, I am so sorry and sad for your loss. I am happy, though, that I had the chance to know your dad and speak with him. He is a true gentleman and I'm sure was a wonderful father and grandfather. My best to you, the kids and Ron, and Al's family.
