Amos Pyles

AGE: 55 • Plainfield

Amos Pyles, age 55, passed away on July 15, 2011, after a brief illness in Edison, New Jersey at JFK Medical Center. Mr. Pyles was born in Anniston, Alabama, but lived most of his life in Plainfield, New Jersey, where he attended the Plainfield Public School system and graduated in 1974. Mr. Pyles' most recent place of employment was the Plainfield Municipal Utilities Authority (PMUA) where he worked for many years.

Mr. Pyles is survived by his devoted wife, Anna Belin-Pyles; mother, Mrs. Annie P. Pyles; four brothers, Walter, Larry, Greg and Darryl; five sisters, Nancy Hawkins, Peggy Smith, Gloria Pyles, and Cheryl Pyles, whom also reside in Plainfield, and Linda Pyles of Elizabeth, NJ. Mr. Pyles was preceded in death by his father, Walter J. Pyles; and brother, Nathaniel Pyles. Mr. Pyles was beloved by all, and will be solely missed by family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M, Friday July 22, 2011 at Rose of Sharon Community Church. Viewing will be held at Rose of Sharon, Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Arrangements by Judkins Colonial Home, Plainfield. www.judkinscolonialhome.com
