ANGELO PANZA
AGE: 89 MARLBORO
Angelo Panzo, 89, of Marlboro, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009. Born July 9, 1920, he lived in Brooklyn and Staten Island before moving to Marlboro 20 years ago. Angelo was president of A. Panza & Sons, he worked actively as a supplier to the Ice Cream Industry until his retirement in 2001. Angelo loved his work, eating out at resturaunts, and keeping fit at the YMCA.
Married to Frances (Dolly) in 1940, he is survived by his wife of 69 years; two sons, John and Vito; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the Waitt-Nelms Funeral Home, 501 Hwy 79, Morganville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 in St. Gabriels Historic Church, Marlboro. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery.
