South Amboy - Anna J. Jezewski (Nee: Ryniec) 99, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 11, 2018 in Cape Coral, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Antoni and Ludwika, predeceased by her husband William F., her son William E., sisters Cecelia Chando, her husband John, Sophie Saranczak, her husband Edward, brothers Stanley and John Ryniec. She is survived by her daughter MaryAnn & husband James Holovacko with whom she resided, grandson James Austin Holovacko & wife Marie, Great-grandson Austin James Holovacko who was her "little Buddy" that always took her by the hand saying "Come on, Great Grandma-let's go play". Anna is also survived by her sister-in-law Joan Ryniec and several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Anna was born in Sayreville and resided in South Amboy for over 80 years until relocating to Florida in 2011. She continued to enjoy being outside in the "fresh air" tending to her garden. She also enjoyed the casinos in Immokalee and Miami, however Atlantic City was her all time favorite. Meeting other NJ "transplants" allowed her to reminisce about the "good old days", she was a true "Jersey Girl" never forgetting her roots. As a retired seamstress from Komar's sewing and mending occupied much of her time along with crocheting. Her smile and kindness was an inspiration to many that knew her, a beautiful flower in God's garden while on Earth.

The funeral will be conducted from the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 8:30 AM followed by a 9:00 AM mass at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Anna will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sayreville beside her husband and son. Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM, 7 to 9 PM and from 8 AM on Tuesday. The Sacred Heart Rosary Society will be honoring her at 2:30 PM on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the South Amboy First Aid Squad, 200 Thompson Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 or charity of their choice in memory of Anna.
