Anne Wolocen Obituary
AGE: 91 • North Plainfield
Anne P. (Duroska) Wolocen, age 91, died on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Philadelphia, PA she grew up in Linden before moving to North Plainfield many years ago. Anne was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, crocheting and knitting. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a strong love of all animals.
Predeceased by her husband, Edward H. Wolocen in 2007; her daughter, Pamela J. Brevard and her sister, Helen Duroska. Surviving are her sons, Peter W. and Edward J. Wolocen; daughter, Patricia A. Bollenbach; her sister, Olga Lawson; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12th at 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Cremation is private. Contributions can be made in her name to: The Humane Society of the United States, National Processing Center, P.O. Box 52137, Phoenix, AZ 85072-9995.
