Anthony Sarcich Obituary
ANTHONY M. SARCICH
AGE: 80 MONROE TWP.
Mr. Anthony M. Sarcich died on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 80 years old. Mr. Sarcich was born and raised in Jersey City. He lived in Somerset for many years before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 2001. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a cost accounting manager for Henkel Chemical Co. in Carlstadt for over 31 years before his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the Rossmoor Bocce, and Shuffleboard Clubs.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris M. (Glockner) of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp.; two sons, Stephen A. Sarcich and his wife, Faye L. of Vernon, CT, and Paul R. Sarcich and his wife, Marianne of Wilmington, DE; four daughters, Anne M. Frankel and her husband, David N. of Montgomery, Elizabeth A. Kiesche and her husband, Frederick P., III of Franklin Park, Barbara Sarcich of Scarsdale, NY, and Jean L. Wheeler and her husband, Michael Jay of Kalamazoo, MI; one sister, Louise Marrie and her husband, Thomas of Hasbrouck Heights; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 10:00am Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the M. David De Marco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick. Visitation is 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday at the funeral home.
