AGE: 51 • South Toms River
Barry Mayer, 51, of South Toms River, passed away on March 30, 2017 at his home. Barry was a lifelong resident of Toms River. He was a supervisor for the Ocean County Road Department. Barry loved to turn wooden bowls and pens on a lathe, fish, travel, ride his motorcycle, and especially playing ball with his dogs.
Barry was predeceased by his father David Mayer and two brothers David and Vern Mayer. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Mayer; two sons Marc and Scott Mayer; his mother Judith Larson of NV; his sister Sherry Ulloa of AZ; his companion Avegail Greco and his faithful dog Tequila.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755 where a funeral service will take place at 8:00 PM. Burial will be on Thursday April 6 at 11:00 am at Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.quinn-hoppingfh.com.

So sorry for your loss. So sad to hear that Barry died. He was always very thoughtful, helpful and very compassionate. He always made me feel right at home each time I saw him and went out of his way to help me any way he could. I know he loved you all and was so proud to be your Dad and Husband. God rest his soul, may he rest in peace.
