Brian Saverino Obituary
AGE: 70 • Somerville
Brian Saverino, 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd, at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick with his loving family by his side.
Brian was born in Somerville and lived there most of his life and had many faithful friends and clients who loved him. He was self employed as a painter/wallpaper hanger under Saverino Contracting.
Brian adored his family and dogs.
He leaves behind his loving wife Sue, son Anthony, daughter Gina and grandson Alex who held a gleam in his eye whenever he visited. He also leaves behind his brothers Thomas and wife Gloria and Kevin and wife Joanne.
Also surviving are several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, beginning at 6:30 pm and conclude with a Funeral Service and Military Honors at 8:30 pm at Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville.

Brian was an excellent painter. He painted our son's bedroom with the Yankee pinstripes. That was nine years ago and has withstood time. We will keep you all in our prayers at this sad time. The Esposito Family

So sorry to hear about Brian. I lived on South Middaugh Street in Somerville and knew Brian and Kevin. I haven't seen them since I was a teenager. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Sue and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss of Brian. I was friends with him in high school. He was sweet and funny.
Many of his friends called him 'Sav'. We all had a lot of fun together. I am sure that his other friends from school will be as sad to learn of Brian's passing as I was.

Dear Sue and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. It is such a tragedy.
I just wanted to share with you that Brian was a very good friend of my family, the Stramaglias, especially my brother Ralph or "Wheats" as most of his friends called him. My dad, Ralph, was a barber in Somerville on Bridge St. Brian would come over Sunday mornings and have breakfast with us. He was the best dancer I ever had the privilege to dance with. I am the sole person left in my family. I just wanted to let you know that my family loved Brian and we were glad he became part of our lives.
