Catherine Mondano Obituary
AGE: 81 • Colonia
Catherine B. Mondano (nee: Herrmann), 81, of Colonia passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Colonia in 1960. She was a homemaker.
She is predeceased by her husband, Vincent (2006). Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law; John & Kathy of Edison and Vincent & Gail of Keansburg; sister, Shirley Walsh of Colonia. Catherine is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. John Vianney RC Church, Colonia. Family and friends are all to meet at church on Friday. Burial to follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Please obey all Traffic laws if driving in this procession. Donations in her loving memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, Suite 1100, New York, NY 10016. Condolences can be sent to the family at [email protected].
