Mary R. Head

HEAD Mrs. Mary R. Head, 89 years of Maumee, Ohio passed away Saturday January 5, 2008 at the Northwest Ohio Hospice Center, Perrysburg, OH. Mary was born and raised in Logan, West Virginia and had lived and worked in the Jacksonville area 50 years until her decline in health brought her to Maumee two years ago. She was a registered nurse working many years at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville and later was involved with her husband in the operation of a convalescent home until her retirement 25 years ago. She is survived by her stepchildren, James (Kerry) Head and Janice (Fred) Grede. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Head in April 2005 and parents, Charles Booth Roberts and Elizabeth Maynard Roberts Rice, brother, Charles R. Roberts and sisters, Naomi "Sally" Roberts Watson and Ira Elizabeth Roberts Dillon. Private services were held in Toledo at the Coyle Funeral Home (419 865 1295) and burial is in the Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Cemetery, Green Cove Springs, FL.
