Charles Shamanski Obituary

Charles W. Shamanski

AGE: 69 • Nanticoke, PA

Charles W. Shamanski died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He was 69. Born in Larksville, PA he had lived in South Brunswick, New Jersey before moving to Nanticoke two years ago. He was a sales manager for Walmart Stores, Inc. in North Brunswick for over 10 years before retiring in 2008. Mr. Shamanski had served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are three daughters, Shannon Castillo of Elizabeth, NJ, Sherri Shamanski of Nanticoke, PA and Bonnie Hillabrand of Florida; a son, Brian Ladere of Florida; a brother, Joseph Shamanski of the Somerset section of Franklin Township, NJ; two sisters, Anne Parsley of Texas and Elizabeth Howell of South Carolina; and a granddaughter, Hayley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
