CHRISTOPHER J. FURBEE
AGE: 43 FORMERLY OF MIDDLESEX
Christopher J. Furbee, 43, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he resided in Middlesex before moving to Haddon Heights in 2006. Christopher was a graduate of Middlesex High School, he then attended Rutgers College of Engineering where he earned a BS in Engineering. He was the owner/operator of Cogent Engineering Solutions. He previously was employed at M & E Engineering, Branchburg. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 3 years, Lucia Sitar Furbee; his parents, Roger and Ruth Furbee of Middlesex; a brother, Todd Furbee and wife Teresa of Somerset and two nephews, Sean and Jason Furbee.
Funeral services will begin 10:00am, Wednesday at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Rd., Middlesex followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Middlesex. Interment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation hours will be Tuesday from 6-9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O. Box 27106, New York, NY, 10087-7106. My aunt speaks very fondly of Chris. My mother and father were also graudates of Middlesex High School as well as myself. His legacy will live on in the hearts of this community. May God bring peace and comfort to you during this difficult time.

My deapest sympathy goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. I remember Chris fondly he was a nice neighbor. He always had a smile and would say hello everytime I was outside to play. He will be missed.
