Cynthia "Cindy" Ferro-McCutcheon

AGE: 49 • South River

Cynthia "Cindy" Ferro-McCutcheon, age 49, of South River, passed away Sunday June 7, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Brunswick, she had lived most of her life in South River. Cindy was a proud mother and grandmother. Cindy was employed by 33's and The Monaghan House for many years. She was a South River Pop Warner cheer coach as well as a Girl Scout troop leader for her daughter Ginger Lynn.

She is predeceased by her mother Justine Ferro and granddaughter Juliette Esme. Surviving are her son Justin and his wife Marta, her daughter Ginger Lynn, her grandchildren, Anthony Alexander, Alexander Theodore, her father Albert Ferro Jr. and his wife Nancy, her sisters Doreen and her husband David Unterwald, Tammy Ferro, Gina Marie and her husband Joe Zargo, her beloved dog Lilly, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday 10:15am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River, with a 11am funeral mass to follow at St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River. Burial will take place at Washington Monumental Cemetery on Hillside Ave, South River. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm.
