Daniel Witanek Obituary
AGE: 51 • Monroe
Daniel J. Witanek, 51, of Monroe died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Carteret for many years before moving to Monroe 15 years ago. Daniel was self-employed as a Certified Public Account.
He is survived by his parents, James A. Witanek and Loretta D. (Kenney) Witanek of Carteret; two brothers, James F. Witanek of Woodbridge, and Robert S. Witanek and his wife, Susan Colby, of Belle Meade. Also survived by his nephews, James E. Witanek, Robert Colby-Witanek and Ethan Colby-Witanek.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Rumpf Funeral Home, 21 Locust Street, Carteret, NJ 07008. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Small Dog Rescue, Inc., 943 Canal Road, Princeton, NJ 08540.

My prayers are with Danny and his family and friends. No words can fill the loss, there is however remembering Danny as you loved him until you met again. Danny and I were friends for decades, beginning in childhood. We shared a lot of adventures and good times. He was a good person and I was fortunate to have such a good friend. He will be missed.
