Delfina Lugo, 64, passed away into the loving hands of our Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at her home in Perth Amboy. She has resided in Perth Amboy since 1971, and was a parishioner of La Asuncion Church in Perth Amboy, where she was a minister of the Eucharist. She recently retired from ConAir Corporation after 38 years of service. She's remembered as a loving mother not only to her children, but to all who knew her. She loved her friends and family as deeply as she loved our Lord. Together with her husband, they toured the world through their love of cruising and had many adventures.

She was predeceased by her father Esteban; brother Berto; and son-in-law Justo Figueroa. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years Francisco Lugo; daughters Carmelina Rodriguez and Nancy Figueroa; step-children Francisco Lugo Jr. and wife Matilda, and granddaughters Christina and Kiara, Osvaldo Lugo, and Orlando Lugo; first husband Osvaldo Rodriguiez; siblings Lydia, Margerito, Roberto, and Omar; as well as a large extended family in Cuba, Trenton and Newark, New Jersey, Florida, and Puerto Rico.

Visitation will be Friday, September 13 from 6-9PM at Zylka Funeral Home, 513 State St, Perth Amboy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14 beginning with prayers at the funeral home at 830AM. Service will follow at 9AM at La Asuncion Church, Perth Amboy followed by burial at Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy.
