Edward Fulton Memoriam

In Loving Memory of

Edward K. Fulton, Sr.

3/18/48 - 3/25/20

Thirty-four years ago, on September 14,1986, I, Donna Tremblay Fulton, got to marry my best friend and spent the rest of his life as his wife, mother to two of his children, companion and soulmate. Unfortunately, I lost my best friend on March 25, 2020. Meghan, Lindsey, Jennifer and Edward, Jr., lost their dad and George, Jenna, Brayden, Cole and Ethan lost the World's Best Pa!

Born in Rahway on March 18, 1948 to Edward H. and Patricia Goebel Fulton, Eddie was the older brother to Christopher, Leslie Bussiere and Melissa Faas.

After graduation from South Plainfield High School in June 1966, Ed followed his dad's footsteps and entered the workforce at General Motors Assembly Plant in Linden, NJ, building cars and trucks until his retirement in 2007. During that time, Uncle Sam requested his service and Ed served in the Army as a radio operator in the Signal Corps from 1967-1969, spending 1 year in Vietnam where he was awarded a Purple Heart, Military Merit Medal, National Defense Medal and The Republic of Vietnam Service Medal.

Throughout his life, Ed was the biggest supporter of his children as Assistant Coach for Metuchen Jr. Bulldogs, Ground Crew for Edison Marching Band and the proudest Dad in the stands of Metuchen HS Girls Track Team and Softball, MHS Football, Edison Angels Softball, Edison High School Softball and Cheerleaders and Kutztown University Marching Unit.

A man of integrity, honor and dedication to his family and friends he is lovingly missed.

No Memorial Service is planned due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. Cremation was arranged through Flynn and Sons Funeral Home at the time of his death.
