Eleanor Agnes Elmquist, age 98, of Red Bank, NJ, and Naples, FL, died Wed., Oct. 26, 2011, at Westfield Center of Genesis Health Care, Westfield, NJ. Born in East Orange, NJ, she resided in Kearney, NJ, before moving to Red Bank & Naples, FL, in 1995. Survived by 3 sons, Rudolph Elmquist of River Plaza, NJ, Walter Elmquist of Chiefland, FL, George Elmquist of Kearney, NJ; 2 daughters, Eleanor Buehler of Manahawkin, NJ, June Schoeneick of Jackson, NJ; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Rudolph R. Elmquist (1995); and daughter, Dorothy Palumbo (2009).
Funeral Services Sunday at 8:30pm from Posten's Funeral Home, 59 E. Lincoln Ave. at Central Ave., Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Sunday, 2-4 & 7 until time of service at 8:30pm. All further services are private and at the convenience of the family.
