AGE: 94 • Huntersville, NC formerly of North Brunswick, NJ
Elizabeth (Caccioppo) Ancona died Monday, September 4, 2017, at Mary's Assisted Living in Denver, North Carolina. She was 94.
Born in Springfield, Illinois she lived in North Brunswick for many years before moving to Huntersville in 2004. She was an assembly technician at Johnson and Johnson in North Brunswick for 25 years before her retirement.
Ms. Ancona served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II.
She was predeceased by her former husband Vito William "Bill" Ancona.Surviving are two sons - William Ancona and his wife Maureen of Denver, NC and Stephen Ancona and his wife Rowena of Huntersville, NC; and a granddaughter Jessica Lee Ancona.
Visitation will be today, September 8, 2017 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. A funeral service will be 1:30 PM at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick followed by entombment. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's New Jersey, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.
