Elizabeth Faccone Obituary
AGE: 92 • North Brunswick
Elizabeth "Betty" Covino Faccone died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at her home in North Brunswick. She was 92. Born in New Brunswick she had lived there before moving to North Brunswick 50 years ago. She was a hostess at Covino's Restaurant and Lounge in South Brunswick for 19 years before retiring in 1987. She had worked at the Raritan Arsenal during World War II. Known to everyone as "Aunt Betty", she loved to cook and entertain at her home. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick and Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick.
Her husband Joseph S. Faccone died in 1990. Surviving are her daughter Joyce Ann Staples of North Brunswick; three sons Joseph, Robert and John Michael Faccone, all of North Brunswick; two brothers - Vincent Covino of North Brunswick and Angelo Covino of Florida; three granddaughters - Stephanie Staples-Kovach of North Brunswick, Sherise Staples-Stinnett of Robertsdale, Alabama and Nicole of North Brunswick; and six great grandchildren - Anthony and Michael Kovach, Bobby Mennicucci and Olivia, Kayla and Gianna.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

I will always remember Betty as a very kind and giving person.I met her while working at Covino's back in the mid 70's.It fun watching her handle her many brother's as only she could. Though it has been years since I have seen her,when I talk about the old Covino days I think of how lucky I was to meet not only betty but so many of the family.My thoughts and prayer's to the Faccone/Staples familys...R.I.P betty,you made a difference.
