Frances Dorman Obituary
AGE: 87 • formerly of Paterson
Frances Dorman (nee Abrash), age 87, of Coconut Creek, FL, formerly of Paterson, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday morning, June 15, 2012, beloved wife for 53 years of the late Martin J. Dorman, devoted mother of Gary Dorman, Marion Dorman Rosenthal, Cheryl Tosk (Jerome Kootman), Steven Dorman and Charles Dorman, cherished grandmother of Ilene Orlando (Matthew), Adam Dorman (Angie), Beth Rosenthal Wolf (David), Alix Rosenthal, Myles Tosk, Jonathan Dorman, Esq. (Merrill), Jarrett Tosk, M.D. (Dana), Rachael Rosenthal, Fabienne DeLusso (Andrew) and Joshua Dorman.
Prior to her retirement, Fran was the Registrar for the Passaic County Department of Vital Statistics, in Paterson. Fran was a longtime member of Temple Emanuel and its Sisterhood, in Paterson and also a member of the Paterson chapter of Hadassah; Fran was active in her community as a member of her community's Stroke Club, which provides support for spouses of Stroke victims and was a volunteer at the Broward County Art Center.
Graveside services will be 12 Noon Monday, June 18, 2012 at Passaic Junction Cemetery, Dewey Avenue, Saddle Brook, NJ. Shiva will be observed through Wednesday night at the home of Cheryl Tosk and Jerome Kootman, 118 White Oak Ridge Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738. Memorial donations in memory of Frances R. Dorman may be made to the American Heart Association. arrangements are by Louis Suburban, Chapel 13-01 Broadway, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410
