Francesco Bollaci Obituary
Helmetta, Formerly of South Brunswick Twp. - Francesco 'Frank' Bollaci passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 67 years old. Frank was born in Acquedolci, Sicily, Italy, came to the US in 1956 and settled in Carteret. He lived in South Brunswick Twp. for 33 years where he and his wife, Diane, raised their family. Most recently, he resided in Helmetta. He had great love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Frank was a devout Catholic and was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus in St. Cecilia's Council #7046. For many years he was an active member of the South Brunswick Soccer Club.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane (Huber) Bollaci of Helmetta, three children, Benjamin Bollaci and his wife Danielle of East Windsor, Deana Russo and her husband Michael of Arlington, VA, and Allysa Teeter and her husband Matthew of East Brunswick, four siblings, Joanne Stabile, Fred Bollaci, Anna Ferraro, and Liz Galayda, and four grandchildren, Francesco, Charlotte, Ada, and Luca.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, May 6, 2021 and from 9:15am to 9:45am on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:45am on Friday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at St. Cecilia RC Church, 10 Kingston Ln. Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852.
For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.

We enjoyed speaking with Frank at South Brunswick Soccer games and events. Frank helped us learn soccer and enjoy the sport. Frank and Ben were fair refs.

I never met Frank Bollaci. Although, my father, Tullio Coppola, was good friends with the Bollaci family, especially Frank's father Ben and brother Fred. I want to send my deepest condolences from the Coppola family to the Bollaci family. My heart goes out to you at this most difficult time.

I didn't know nor never met Frank. My father, Tullio Coppola, was a good friend of Frank's father Ben Bollaci. My father owned Coppola's Deli in Carteret. Over time we met various members of Frank's family. I'm sure Frank was as nice as his parents and siblings. My deepest condolences to the Bollaci family during this most difficult of times.
