Some of the best memories of my life were from the years I spent living at Chado farms with Frank, Mary, Wendy and Laura. Frank's passion and excellence continued to inspire me throughout the years. The world has lost a special man the likes of which we will never see again. Rest in Peace Frank Chapot. You will never know how many lives you have touched. My best wishes to Mary, Wendy and Laura and their families.

The horse world has lost a legend but can be grateful for his legacy of sharing his wealth of knowledge. My memories go back a long way.....I particularly remember schooling shows at Hi Tor farm before the days of FLA in the winter when Wendy and Laura were quite little. Of course there are the memories of Sussex County Farm and Horse Show. Wishing peace for Mary, Wendy and Laura.

It is truly a blessing Frank lived a long and fulfilled life. It reminds me of Psalms 90:10 because so many people may never see his age. Cherish his memories forever in your heart.

he was indeed the last of the "Class Acts" in the business. I had a real treat when I met him as he was a guest at OX Ridge in Darien Connecticut when I was 13 in 1961. Then I met him at Wellington in West Palm Beach back in the early 90's and that was a great opportunity.
I never saw a make rider with better hands and a natural seat that all others have tried to duplicate with no such success. Thank you Frank for being truly the best of all time. You brought us all tremendous enjoyment and expertise in a oft confusing and difficult sport.
God Bless You
Jim Bates, New York City.

When I was young, I remember seeing Frank at Montclair Riding Academy, Montclair, NJ, teaching horseback riding to students in the early 1950s. Even at that young age Frank already had made his mark in the equestrian world.
