FREDDIE A. BREMBOR
AGE: 60 OLD BRIDGE
Freddie A. Brembor, 60, of Old Bridge, passed away Wednesday Sept. 1, 2010, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Genk, Belgium, he immigrated to Perth Amboy in 1955 moving to Sayreville in 1964 before moving to Old Bridge 10 years ago. He had attended Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Before his retirement last year, he was the owner of Freddie's S.A. Pub for 15 years and prior to that as a welder for Jersey Central Power & Light, Sayreville, where he worked for 12 years. Freddie was the former owner of the Middlesex County Tap Pool Association. He also was a member of the Old Bridge Elks Lodge 2229, and a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville.
He is predeceased by his father, Szczepan Brembor, in 1978. Surviving are his life partner and companion of 20 years, June Curran; his stepson, Scott Curran and his wife Brenda of Old Bridge; his mother, Mary Ochnio Brembor of Sayreville; his sister, Irene Hand and her husband Kenneth of Perth Amboy; his brothers, George Brembor and his wife Diane of Jackson, and his twin brother, John Brembor of Sayreville; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Michelle, Christopher, Dina and Jessica.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:45 am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, followed by an 11:30 am mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, Sayreville, with burial to follow at St Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Members of Old Bridge Elks 2229 will hold services Friday 7:30 pm at the funeral home.

I met Fred and June in Aruba. We, my mom (who has since passed), Fred and June enjoyed a night out. What a lot of fun he was. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family. He will be missed.

It is with heartfelt sorrow that I've heard of your passing.
You were a wonderful person who always brought a smile to those around you.
My sympathies go out to June....she is such a wonderful lady.
