GAIL S. APPLEGATE
AGE: 67 MORGAN
Gail S. Applegate, 67, of the Morgan section of Sayreville died Monday Sept. 6, 2010 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Perth Amboy, she has resided in Morgan for 44 years. She retired 1995 from DuPont in Parlin after 15 years of service. Gail was a graduate from Perth Amboy High School Class of 1960 and the College of NJ with a teaching certificate in elementary education. She was a long time member of St Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy and member of the Mother's Guild. She was an avid bowler and Mets fan.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Franklin A. Applegate; sons, Aaron of Hoboken and Alan of Morgan.
Funeral Service will be held 8:00pm Friday September 10, 2010 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ, Visiting hours Friday 2-4, 7-9pm at the funeral home, Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Living Memorial Fund of St Peter's Episcopal Church 183 Rector Street Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Condolence messages to www.flynnfuneral.com

My condolences to Frank,Aaron and Alan.Sorry to hear of your loss. Gail definately was a special person who will be missed by all fortunate to have known her.remember all the gatherings and good times she was was a part of.I have the conductors watch that you all gave to me prior to my deployment and think of you all and will especially think of her when i wear it.the Angels will have competition from her! Dear Frank, Arron and Alan,
I cant begin to express my condolences for the untimely Loss of your Wife and Mother. I always knew Gail as a kind and gentle person. A cousin I admired. I always looked forward to her personalized Christmas cards.And the all to infrequent times we got toghether. Always a pleasure though few that they may have been. When I think back I always remember my Mother 'Aunt Bernice" she always had nothing but good to say about All of you. She always commented on how Handsome Arron and Alan are... Always hold good memories of Gail. She will be missed..
