Isaac Danner Obituary
AGE: 78 • New Brunswick
Isaac Danner, Sr., 78, died Sun., June 3, 2012 at home. Born in Plainfield he was a 1953 graduate of Plainfield High School. He lived in Atlantic City for 20 years and at the time of his death, was a resident of New Brunswick. Mr. Danner was one of the first black licensed master plumbers in New Jersey. He was employed by the City of Atlantic City retiring after 20 years. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Plainfield where he was a former deacon. He also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Ada Danner, his son William F. Danner, his former wife Janet Danner and daughter in law Robin Danner. Surviving are two sons Isaac Jr. (Rosalind) and Kevin L. Danner; a daughter Crystal E. Danner; 7 grandchildren; a great grandson; two sisters Carrie Nichols (Rev. Donald Nichols, Sr.) and Sylvia Lee; two brothers Edward (Beverly) and David Danner; his devoted companion Naomi Belin; his devoted caregiver Caroline Griffith and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Fri. 11am in Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 216 Liberty St., Plainfield preceded by viewing at 9am. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home, Plainfield. www.brownsfuneralhome.net.

Ike, Sr., otherwise known as "Jackie", was always my big brother. I will always remember his love and concern, and yes his humor. I love you, big brother, and will miss you.
To Isaac, Jr., your father is smiling with pride and gratitude for all you have become for the family. God will truly bless you.
