Isabelle Hopfel (nee Hermann) passed away June 19, 2015. Isabelle died at her home at the age of 88,with her Children at her bedside. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ and resided there for 20 years. She was a graduate of what was then known as Battin High School, in 1944. She married Kenneth Hopfel in 1947. They lived in No.Plainfield. For 30 years, then moved to Martinsville NJ. Her husband was a veteran of WWII, and deceased in the year 2000. She then moved to Little Egg Harbor, NJ.

Surviving are her 3 children, Kenneth Hopfel and his wife Kathy of Flemington NJ, Lindsay McHugh and her husband Robert McHugh of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, and Barry Hopfel of Neshanic, NJ. Six grandchildren, Kenneth Hopfel and his wife Deborah of Califofnia, Kerrie Stepko of Stirling NJ, Devin Hopfel of FL, Kimberley McHugh of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Barry and Maranda of French Town, NJ. Also 3 great-grandchildren, Kai and Kirra Hopfel of California and Jase DeLorme of Frenchtown, NJ. She also leaves behind 2 sisters, Violet Jackowiak and her husband Tom of Phillipsburg, NJ and Doris Hermann at Seacrest Village nursing home in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Five nieces, Carlyse and her husband Tony Grazulewick of So. Carolina and Debbie Kopski and her husband Wayne of Howell Twp. NJ, Maureen Kaufman and her husband Bob of Ocean Gate, NJ, and Eileen Lafferty of FL and Mary Ann Lafferty of Bayville, NJ. Six nephews, George and Joseph of Nevada, LV, Tom Jackowiak of Phillipsburg, NJ and William Lafferty and his wife Janet of Normandy Beach, NJ. Albert Hopfel of Canada, also Ford Coles and wife Vickie of Califon, NJ.

Memorial celebration will be for family only.
