Ivert Kirkirt Obituary
South River
Ivert Frederick "Homie" Kirkirt, Sr., of South River, N.J. entered into eternal life on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in the Bronx, New York and has lived in South River, NJ for many years. Fred was a painter for IUPAT Local #144, Perth Amboy, NJ, he served his country with the US Army and was a member of VFW Post 1451, South River. He was an avid fisherman and liked to shoot pool.
Homie is predeceased by a daughter, Candace L. Kirkirt and his son, John Hunter and his parents, John and Emilie (nee Nelsen) Kirkirt. He is survived by his wife, Eloise (nee Dragon) Kirkirt; a sister, Loretta Towney and a brother, Richard Kirkirt of Laurence Harbor, NJ and his grandchildren, Candy and her husband Brian, Ivert John, Jeremy, Tanya, Bobby and John Elvis and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 9am from the Sayreville Memorial Funeral Home, 341 Washington Road, Sayreville, New Jersey 08872. Funeral services will be at 10am at St. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment will be at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, South River. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with Pannikhida at 7pm.

I knew Fred Kirkirt Jr in elemtary school. I haven't seen Freddie or Diane since 1985. I remember Candy. RIP Mr. Kirkirt, you are now with your beloved daughter. Freddie and Diane please call me at 732 581 5896
