Jason McLaughlin Obituary
AGE: 34 • Piscataway
Jason T. McLaughlin, 34, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. Born in Korea, Jason was adopted by Paula (Danbury) and the late Thomas McLaughlin. Jason lived in Queens, NY until the age of 2 then grew up in Piscataway, graduating from Piscataway High School in 1999. An avid worker with expertise in many different trades, Jason was most recently working at Bloomingdales in the Bridgewater Commons. Jason could often be found walking around Piscataway, Dunellen and South Plainfield. He was a collector of many things including, Wizard of Oz and I Love Lucy memorabilia and always enjoyed a Broadway play. A man with a heart of gold, Jason was loved by everyone he met and will be truly missed. Predeceased by his father, Thomas, surviving is his mother Paula (Danbury) McLaughlin. He will also be missed by extended family members, Roberto Arocho, Laura, Bruce Plath Sr., Bruce Plath Jr. and Michelle Plath.
Funeral services will begin on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11am in Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854 followed by burial in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Family and friends may attend visitation on Wednesday August 26th from 4-8pm in the funeral home.

Jason had a personality bigger than life! I worked with him more than 10 years ago at the Somerset Courtyard. We had many laughs together and talked endlessly about the Wizard of Oz. He will be truly missed.
