I remember how she always got a kick out of My Richard speaking Polish to her. Her eyes would sparkle with delight

Cioci Jean was a beautiful woman with a deep love of God and family. The walls of her home proudly displayed this love. She always enjoyed sharing stories of her loved ones' accomplishments. I recall her listening to one of her nephew Jamie's songs, mouthing the words and getting lost in the melody. Her distinctive laugh was a treat to all. Her unselfishness was apparent, as was her hospitality to her guests. Through her long life, she had more than her share of sadness. She leaned heavily on her deep faith in Christ, and because of this, nothing kept her down. She helped others heal when they were hurt, and encouraged all to succeed. She was a keeper. A soul who made you smile just by being in her company. Today, with a heavy heart, we celebrate Jean's long life and mourn our loss.

I will always remember Jean coming into the doctor's office, where I worked, and always telling her daughter."she's Polish like you"..."and she doesn't speak Polish either" referring to Kathy and me...we would look at each other and always laugh....Jean was a pleasure to know and from knowing Jean I have become close friends with her daughter Kathy....Please accept our deepest sympathy!
