JEFFREY B. DAVIS
AGE: 56 HILLSBOROUGH
Jeffrey B. Davis, 56, of Hillsborough, NJ passed away in the University Medical Center at Princeton on Thursday, July 22, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
The visitation will be at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Hts., NJ on Tuesday, July 27th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, July 28th, at 10 AM at the New Providence United Methodist Church, followed by the entombment in Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Jeffrey was born in Winston-Salem, NC and lived in Murray Hill, NJ for many years before moving to Hillsborough 25 years ago. He is a graduate of Governor Livingston High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ. He worked for the United States Golf Association in Branchburg, NJ for 15 years in Computer Operations before retiring in 2007. Jeffrey enjoyed entertaining family and friends. He also had a passion for sports cars, boats and spending time at the beach. He shared his love of life with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by many.
He leaves behind many who loved him dearly. He is the beloved husband of Linda (nee Heindel) for 24 years, loving father of Shelby Davis of Hillsborough, devoted son of Allie Davis (nee Culler) of Murray Hill and the late Andrew J. Davis. He is the dear twin brother of Michael Davis and his wife Rebecca of Nevada and brother of John Davis and his wife Jane of Maryland, and the late brother Andrew Davis. He is the beloved nephew of Peggy Massey and husband James of North Carolina and Robert J. Davis of Tennessee and cousin of their children. He is the beloved brother-in-law and uncle of his wife's eleven siblings and many nieces and nephews. Jeffrey is also survived by many dear friends.
The Davis family would like to thank the medical and nursing staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC and The University Medical Center at Princeton. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to the American Children's Society @ childrenscharities.com or any cancer charity of your choice.
