Jennie Levy Obituary
Toms River
Jennie Freeman Levy, of Toms River, NJ, passed on Monday, August 8, 2011 .She was born in the Bronx, NY, Lived and raised her family in Middletown, NJ then retired to Toms River in 1988. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She has forever cherished her memories with her cousins and lifelong friends. Jennie also was a founding member of the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary Bayshore Post 737, where she was involved in many community services.
Surviving are her husband, Leighton Levy of Toms River; son and daughter-in-law Mitchell and Nancy Levy of Glen Gardner; daughter and son-in-law Phyllis and Bruce Willence of Freehold; daughter and son-in-law Shelley and Frank DiMaiolo of Toms River; daughter, Allison Levy of Middletown; granddaughter and her husband, Andrea and Doug Lusker; grandson and his fianc? Michael DiMaiolo and Angela Faieta; granddaughter Ashley Willence; and great-grandchild, Jonas Lusker.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 10:30 am at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Jennie Levy to Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Community Medical Center 99 Hwy 37 W, Toms River, NJ 08755.
