Jerold W. Temple

Jerold "Jerry" W. Temple, 78, died peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at home. Son of the late Edgar and Ida Temple, Jerry was born in Trenton and grew-up in Hopewell before moving to Bridgewater. He was a graduate of Princeton High School. Jerry worked as a loading dock manager for Schutz Containers in Branchburg. After his retirement, he then became a flea market merchant.

Jerry's two passions were hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening, skiing and travelling wherever his wife dragged him. His sense of adventure led to many life experiences, from sitting among grizzly bears in Alaska to hot air ballooning.

He is predeceased by his 3 brothers, Vernon, Robert, and Harold. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 50 years, Janet (Barry) Temple; son, Kevin Temple and wife, Lavinia of Alaska; and granddaughter, Alexis. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 and 10 am on Wednesday, July 28 2021. at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 11 am at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
