Joanne Bertolino Obituary
AGE: 71 • Lakewood
Joanne Bertolino, 71, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Elmhurst, IL, she grew up in Springfield, NJ and was a long time resident of Brick, before moving to Lakewood fifteen years ago. Joanne was a realtor for many years and a member of the New Jersey Realtors Association; most recently working for Harold Imports in Lakewood as a Credit Manager. Joanne enjoyed spending quality time with her family, friends, and cherished grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Lies, and in 1984 her husband, Phillip Bertolino. Surviving are her loving children, Tracy LaValle and husband Michael, P.J. Bertolino and wife Kelly, and Troy Bertolino; her cherished grandchildren, Michael Jr., Ryan, Kaela, and Brooke; her 9 siblings; her significant other and companion for 22 years, Jack Caffery, and many loving nephews, nieces, and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th, from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30AM on Saturday, March 1st at Church of the Visitation, Brick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joanne's memory to Lymphoma Research Foundation, 115 Broadway, Suite 1301, New York, NY 10006. I have worked with joanne for 7years and never met anybody more nicer then her. I was glad I knew her. She was a wonderful person. Im sorry about ur loss. Prayers go out to her family.
